The range covers garden log cabins, summer houses, corner cabins, garden workshops and sheds. The base is provided locally, and installation and how it is organised is agreed per project.
What wall thickness do log cabins come in?
Garden log cabins are catalogued in 19 x 100, 28 x 100, 34 x 100, 44 x 130 and 58 x 130 mm wall logs, thickness first and log height second. A solid log model can be made in any of the 28, 34, 44, 58 and 70 mm profiles; the 19 mm profile only on models catalogued with it.
Do you need planning permission for a log cabin?
In England, a log cabin incidental to the house can fall under Class E of the General Permitted Development Order 2015: single storey, eaves no higher than 2.5 m, height no more than 4 m with a dual-pitched roof, 2.5 m within 2 m of the boundary, or 3 m otherwise. Your local planning authority confirms the position.
