A Eurodita wooden garage is a log cabin garage in 28 or 44 mm wall logs: single garages of 3.2 x 5.2 m and 4 x 6 m, double garages of 6 x 6 m, each with an apex or pent roof, and a log garage with carport of 6.61 x 5.36 m. Open timber carports, from 3 x 6 m to 7.5 x 6 m, have a range of their own. Every wooden garage kit is machined in Lithuania and supplied flat packed.
Start with the intended vehicle or storage use, approximate dimensions, access, roof preference and site constraints. The written quotation confirms the selected kit, specification, documentation and commercial scope. For private buyers the supply route is confirmed project by project; garden building retailers can sell the finished building under their own name.

Construction and assembly
Wall logs have tongue-and-groove joints, and the components are cut at the factory. Hardware, anchoring and wind-resistance details are confirmed per model and quote. Product, order and after-sales conditions are confirmed in writing for each project in the quotation, order confirmation and applicable product documentation. Assembly and installation
Kits arrive pre-cut and numbered, with assembly documentation. Installation and how it is organised is agreed per project. Foundation, anchoring and tooling are checked against the confirmed model and site conditions.
Project specification flexibility
Garage, carport, gazebo and pergola kits can be adapted by layout, size, opening positions and glazing package. Higher-specification briefs are reviewed against the intended use, destination market and project requirements before quotation.

Production planning for volume projects is agreed per partner programme. The garages are catalogued in 28 or 44 mm wall logs, and a solid log model can be made in any of the 28, 34, 44, 58 and 70 mm profiles. Dimensions are external.
Do you need planning permission for a wooden garage?
In England a freestanding wooden garage is assessed under Class E of Part 1 of Schedule 2 to the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 (S.I. 2015/596): a single storey, eaves no higher than 2.5 m, and an overall height of no more than 4 m with a dual-pitched roof, 2.5 m within 2 m of the boundary, or 3 m in any other case. It must not stand forward of the principal elevation of the house, and buildings other than the original house may cover no more than half of the curtilage. On designated land a building at the side of the house needs permission, and listed buildings always do. Compare the heights on each data sheet; your local planning authority confirms the position.
Does a wooden garage need building regulations approval?
Under Class 6 of Schedule 2 to the Building Regulations 2010 (S.I. 2010/2214), a detached building with no sleeping accommodation is exempt up to 15 m² of floor area, and a detached single-storey building with no sleeping accommodation up to 30 m² when no point of it is less than 1 m from the boundary or it is constructed substantially of non-combustible material. The single log garages have external footprints of about 17 m² (3.2 x 5.2 m) and 24 m² (4 x 6 m), the double garages 36 m² (6 x 6 m). Electrical work can still need approval, so check larger or enclosed designs with building control.
