Garden bar and garden pub: log cabin kits for dealers and private buyers
A garden bar or garden pub from Eurodita is a log cabin kit used as a bar in the garden: a wooden garden building in solid wall logs, machined in Lithuania and supplied flat packed. Buyers also call it a garden pub shed or a bar shed; the building is a log cabin kit. Every order is quoted in writing. Eurodita is a manufacturer in Lithuania, with manufacturing experience since 1994.
This page is for private buyers in the United Kingdom and for garden building dealers. It lists catalogue models by size, from a small garden bar of 3 x 3 m to a large garden bar of 7 x 4 m, with the wall profile and the doors recorded for each, and says what the kit holds and what stays on the buyer's side.

Garden pub ideas by size
The ideas below are catalogue sizes and what the record of each model states. No counter, bar, furniture or fitting is part of a kit.
Small garden bar: 3 x 3 m
Six models of these ranges measure 3 x 3 m. One is the Log Cabin Ringwood, catalogued in 28 x 100 mm wall logs. Five are corner log cabins, each with a floor plan designed to sit across a garden corner: Benjamin, Toby, Luke, Michael and Alexander. Benjamin is catalogued in 28 x 100 mm or 44 x 130 mm wall logs, and the other four in 44 x 130 mm.
Outdoor garden bar at 4 x 3 m, with timber doors or sliding doors
At 4 x 3 m the Log Cabin Oliver is recorded with a garden type (IV45) timber door and window, and the Modern Log Cabin 4x3m, Pent Roof, with an aluminium sliding door, double glazed. Both are catalogued in 44 x 130 mm wall logs. The Modern range holds eight models with aluminium sliding doors.
Garden pub with a veranda or a terrace
One model carries a veranda in its name: the Corner Log Cabin With Veranda, 5 x 3 m. In these ranges one model is recorded with a terrace: the Log Cabin Everwood measures 5 x 4.3 m, with a terrace of 1.5 m in addition to the external dimensions of the building.
Large garden bar: up to 7 x 4 m
The garden rooms range runs from 4 x 3 m to 7 x 4 m, each model with one main room. The Log Cabin Max measures 5 x 5 m in 44 x 130 mm wall logs. Archie, at 4.4 x 5.4 m, and Matthew, at 7 x 4 m, are catalogued in 58 x 130 mm wall logs. The Modern Log Cabin 6x4m, Pent Roof, is recorded with an aluminium sliding door and a garden type (IV45) timber window.
Where the door and the windows stand is shown on the order drawings, which show the building as it will be machined. Other sizes are quoted as bespoke projects.
Wall thickness for a garden bar
A profile is written thickness first and log height second, for example 44 x 130 mm. The wall profile is chosen per project, by budget and technical feasibility. A solid log model can be made in any of the 28, 34, 44, 58 and 70 mm profiles, and the profile is confirmed in the written quotation. The garden rooms range also holds five twin-skin models, with a wall of two log skins and a cavity for insulation. Eurodita does not normally supply insulation material; the structure can be prepared for insulation sourced locally.
What the kit holds, and is a counter or bar included?
A cabin kit holds machined wall logs in the profile on the order, floor bearers and 28 mm floorboards, roof structure and roof boards, timber windows and doors, and the storm brace and anchor set. The Modern models are recorded with an aluminium sliding door, bought in from a specialist supplier and supplied as part of the project. The order drawings, specification and packing list are the record of what an order holds; see what is in a Eurodita kit.
- Counter, bar and fittings: a counter, a bar, taps, fittings and furniture are not part of the kit and are on the buyer's side.
- Services: electrical, plumbing and gas systems are not supplied or connected; heating and ventilation are on the buyer's side.
- Not in the standard kit: insulation material, roof covering and paint. Wall logs are supplied untreated by default.
- Base and approvals: foundations and approvals are on the buyer's side.
- Installation: it is agreed per project. Unless installation is agreed for the project, assembly is by the buyer's own builder or local crew from the order drawings.
Planning permission for a garden bar or garden pub
In England, a garden log cabin required for a purpose incidental to the enjoyment of the house can fall under Class E of Part 1 of Schedule 2 to the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 (S.I. 2015/596): a single storey, eaves no higher than 2.5 m, and an overall height of no more than 4 m with a dual-pitched roof, 2.5 m within 2 m of the boundary, or 3 m in any other case. It must not stand forward of the principal elevation of the house, and buildings other than the original house may cover no more than half of the land around it. Class E does not permit a verandah, balcony or raised platform, and on designated land or at a listed building permission can be needed. Your local planning authority confirms the position for your plot.
The ridge height of each model is on its data sheet, and the eaves height where it is recorded; check the finished height including any raised base. Nothing here is legal advice, and nothing here says that a particular building needs no permission.
Garden bar cost: how an order is quoted
Eurodita publishes no price list. Every order is quoted in writing, in EUR excluding VAT and delivery. The specification issued with the quotation states the wall profile, floor and roof build-up, joinery and glazing, finish and options. A written quotation is valid for 30 days from its date. Delivery is agreed individually with each client, and the quotation states the delivery term. Unloading is the buyer's responsibility.
Who can buy a garden bar or garden pub kit from Eurodita
Eurodita makes kits for dealers, distributors and private-label brands. For private buyers the supply route is confirmed project by project; garden building retailers can sell the finished building under their own name. Every order is quoted in writing.
For trade buyers
