A Eurodita log cabin kit is one building with many uses: a garden games room, a garden cinema room, a garden music studio or art studio, a garden therapy room or a log cabin office. The use is the buyer's choice, and the kit is the same log cabin: a timber building in solid wall logs or with a twin-skin wall, machined in Lithuania and supplied flat packed. Every order is quoted in writing.

A garden games room from Eurodita is a log cabin kit used as a games room. Log Cabin Axminster and Log Cabin Max measure 5 x 5 m and are catalogued in 44 x 130 mm wall logs, with ridge heights of 247 cm and 293 cm. Garden cinema room

Garden salon, garden hair salon and dog grooming room: the building only
For a room where the buyer works with clients, Eurodita supplies the building only. Buyers also call such a building a dog grooming shed; the building here is a log cabin kit. As an example by size, Log Cabin Archie measures 4.4 x 5.4 m and is catalogued in 58 x 130 mm wall logs, with a ridge height of 247 cm.
Water, drainage, electrics, fittings and every approval for a business use are on the buyer's side.
Garden room with toilet, shower or kitchenette
Eurodita supplies the timber building. Electrical, plumbing and gas systems are not supplied or connected, and sanitary ware and a kitchen are not part of the kit: a toilet, a shower, a basin, a kitchenette and their water and drainage are on the buyer's side.
Two models of the garden rooms range are recorded with a main room, a bathroom and a store with its own door: Log Cabin Freddie, with a garden type (IV45) timber door and window, and Modern Log Cabin 5.9x4.0m, with an aluminium sliding door. Both measure 5.9 x 4 m and are catalogued in 44 x 130 mm wall logs, with a ridge height of 247 cm. The inner partitions of these two models are part of the kit. A room name in the record is only a possible purpose of the room, and the small rooms can be used for other needs; Eurodita supplies no equipment for a toilet or a bathroom. Inner partitions can be added, removed or adjusted as needed; the change is quoted in writing, and the order drawings show the building as it will be machined.

Wall thickness and insulation
A profile is written thickness first and log height second, for example 44 x 130 mm. Of the 30 models of the garden rooms range, 23 are catalogued in 44 x 130 mm solid logs, two in 58 x 130 mm and five with a 44-100-44 mm twin-skin wall. A solid log model can be made in any of the 28, 34, 44, 58 and 70 mm profiles, and the profile is confirmed in the written quotation. The wall profile is chosen per project, by budget and technical feasibility.
Eurodita does not normally supply insulation material; the structure can be prepared for insulation sourced locally, and a twin-skin wall has a cavity for it. See the twin-skin cabins page and the page on 44 mm walls.
What the kit holds and what stays on the buyer's side
A cabin kit holds machined wall logs in the profile on the order, floor bearers and 28 mm floorboards, roof structure and roof boards, timber windows and doors, and the storm brace and anchor set. The order drawings, specification and packing list are the record of what an order holds; see what is in a Eurodita kit.
- Beyond the kit: anything a use needs beyond the kit is on the buyer's side: sound treatment, blackout, fittings, furniture and equipment.
- Services: electrical, plumbing and gas systems are not supplied or connected; heating and ventilation are on the buyer's side.
- Not in the standard kit: insulation material, roof covering and paint. Wall logs are supplied untreated by default.
- Foundations, utilities and approvals: on the buyer's side unless agreed otherwise.
- Installation: it is agreed per project. Unless installation is agreed for the project, assembly is by the buyer's own builder or local crew from the order drawings.
- Delivery: it is agreed individually with each client, and the quotation states the delivery term. Unloading is the buyer's responsibility.
Cost of a garden room for a studio, games room or salon
Eurodita publishes no price list. Every order is quoted in writing, in EUR excluding VAT and delivery. A written quotation is valid for 30 days from its date, and within that period the quoted price is not raised because the cost of timber has risen.
Private buyers and dealers: who Eurodita supplies
Eurodita makes kits for dealers, distributors and private-label brands. For smaller garden buildings the supply route is confirmed project by project; garden building retailers can sell the finished building under their own name. Larger residential homes are also quoted directly to private clients. Every order is quoted in writing.

Do I need planning permission for a garden log cabin?
In England, a garden log cabin required for a purpose incidental to the enjoyment of the house can fall under Class E of Part 1 of Schedule 2 to the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (England) Order 2015 (S.I. 2015/596): a single storey, eaves no higher than 2.5 m, and an overall height of no more than 4 m with a dual-pitched roof, 2.5 m within 2 m of the boundary, or 3 m in any other case. It must not stand forward of the principal elevation of the house, and buildings other than the original house may cover no more than half of the land around it. Class E does not permit a verandah, balcony or raised platform, and on designated land or at a listed building permission can be needed. Your local planning authority confirms the position for your plot.
