Eurodita manufactures 3 bedroom log cabin kits in Lithuania and supplies them to UK buyers, either directly for larger residential projects, each assessed individually, or through Eurodita dealers, who resell under their own name.

Floor plans, elevations and a 3D visualisation are produced for a specific, configured project through the Eurodita design system. Eurodita does not publish a set of generic 3 bedroom plans for download.

Solid 44, 58 or 70 mm wall logs or twin-skin cavity walls such as 44-100-44 mm; a solid log model can also be made in 28, 34, 44, 58 or 70 mm and a glulam model in any glulam profile. The right build-up depends on use, local building control requirements and the project brief; twin-skin insulation is sourced locally.

Yes. The Roan model in this range is a two-storey log cabin. Storey count and the structural calculations behind it are confirmed for each project rather than offered as a standard specification across every model.

Local planning and building control decide. In England, a new self-contained dwelling normally requires planning permission and must meet Building Regulations, and the permitted development allowance for garden outbuildings does not cover independent living accommodation. Eurodita supplies the building drawings and specification; obtaining local approval sits with the customer or project team. Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have separate systems.

Usually both, in England: planning permission is generally needed when a building becomes a separate home, and Building Control assesses Building Regulations separately. Eurodita does not state that any log cabin is compliant with, or exempt from, those rules; its design process produces 2D CAD, 3D visualisation and documentation for an application, and structural calculations come from external engineering specialists.

A cabin built and used as a self-contained dwelling typically gets a council tax band of its own from the Valuation Office Agency. Under the Council Tax (Reductions for Annexes) (England) Regulations 2013 the bill is halved when a resident of the main dwelling uses the annexe as part of their sole or main residence. Ask your council.

Eurodita manufactures and supplies the timber building; kits are quoted excluding VAT and delivery, and delivery is agreed individually with each client. Foundations, installation on site and utility connections are not part of our supply. Electrical, plumbing and gas systems are outside the default scope, and the structure is prepared for insulation that is sourced locally.
