Insulation & Energy Performance

Despite compact dimensions, this cabin employs the same twin-skin cavity wall technology used in larger residential models. The double-wall construction with insulated cavity eliminates thermal bridging and maintains comfortable interior temperatures throughout all seasons. The 12 m² interior is an energy-efficient workspace with minimal running costs.

Timber & Construction (Double-Wall System)

Inner and outer wall layers are manufactured from kiln-dried Nordic spruce at below 18% moisture content. Precision machining on Hundegger CNC centres (Germany) produces exact tongue-and-groove profiles. The apex roof provides increased headroom and internal volume relative to the floor area.

Layout & Configuration

The 4 x 3 m single-room layout is optimised for focused use as a home office, art studio, therapy room, or garden retreat. The apex roof provides full standing height across the majority of the floor area. Windows deliver natural light and ventilation.

Customisation Options

Available modifications include additional windows, French door upgrade, alternative wall thicknesses, and pre-applied exterior treatments. For garden office use, desk-height power outlet positions and data cable pathways can be specified. Bespoke lead time is 4–6 weeks.
