A dealer can order a Eurodita log cabin by three routes: a standard catalogue model, a catalogue model modified for the order, or a building made to measure, which Eurodita calls bespoke. This guide sets out what is fixed and what can change on each route, how each is quoted, and which questions decide the route. It gives no dealer prices and no margins: Eurodita publishes none.
What the Words Mean
- Catalogue model. A listed design with recorded external dimensions and a standard wall profile, shown in the catalogue.
- Modified catalogue model. A listed design that is changed for an order: its size, its layout, the positions of doors and windows, its wall profile. The change is reviewed for the order and confirmed in the written quotation.
- Made to measure, or bespoke. A building that starts from the buyer and not from a listed model: an idea, a sketch or an architectural drawing, developed into a manufacturable, priced proposal with CAD and 3D documentation, subject to technical and commercial review.
On this site "made to measure" and "bespoke" name the same route. A listed model that is changed for an order is called a modified model in this guide; like a bespoke building, it is calculated individually.
Catalogue Models
A catalogue model is a design that can be shown to the customer as it is listed. Each catalogue page carries a data sheet with the recorded figures of the model: external dimensions, wall profile, floor, roof, doors and windows.
A catalogue model is not closed to change. The wall thickness printed on a listing records the standard or featured profile of that model, and a solid log model can be made in any of the 28, 34, 44, 58 and 70 mm profiles, and a glulam model in any glulam profile.
Eurodita makes approximately 12,000 standard catalogue buildings per year on average. This is an annual average, not a capacity figure. The 19 mm range and the standard 28 to 44 mm ranges are volume-driven.
What a catalogue model does not give is a footprint drawn for one plot. Where the recorded dimensions do not fit the site, another listed model, a modified model or a bespoke building can be considered.
Made to Measure
A made-to-measure building starts from the brief of the buyer. The buyer sends an idea, a sketch or an architectural drawing; a sketch is enough to start the review. Eurodita draws and estimates the project in its own design and estimation system. An operator configures the building, and engineering review and commercial judgement still apply.
Depending on the project, the quotation package can include 3D renders, 2D CAD floor plan drawings, side and elevation drawings with dimensions, a technical specification, a window and door schedule and the quotation. For a trade partner the package can be issued as a branded PDF under the identity of the partner, where that is agreed for the order. Details are on bespoke and custom log cabins.
Dimensions and technical feasibility are assessed project by project, and Eurodita publishes no universal maximum building size. Two-storey and other multi-storey buildings are made as bespoke, project-engineered work. Where a project needs structural calculations, they are carried out by external specialists, and building approval follows the local route of the buyer.
Eurodita makes approximately 1,800 to 2,000 non-standard and bespoke timber structures per year on average, excluding glulam. This too is an annual average and not a capacity figure.
What a Dealer Can Specify
- Dimensions. External length by width, with a terrace as its own figure. All stated dimensions are external.
- Wall profile. The wall profiles (a solid log model can be made in any of the 28, 34, 44, 58 and 70 mm profiles, and a glulam model in any glulam profile): solid 19x100, 28x100, 34x100, 44x130, 58x130 and 70x130 mm; glulam 70x130, 88x260, 135x260, 180x260 and 220x260 mm, with dovetail corners on the 88 to 220 mm profiles. Twin-skin build-ups are 44-50-44, 44-100-44, 58-50-58 and 58-100-58 mm, with the cavity prepared for locally bought insulation; twin-skin availability is confirmed per order. Custom 19 mm is not a one-off route: it may be accepted for mass-production programmes only. A 35 mm wall does not exist. See wall profiles.
- Layout and openings. Room layout and partitions, and the number, size and position of windows and doors in the IV45, IV68 or triple-glazed IV92 system, with timber sliding or bifold doors or a sourced aluminium sliding system.
- Roof and floor. Apex, pent, hip, pyramidal or project-specific roof geometry; roof and floor prepared for insulation where required.
- Finish. Untreated by default; factory painting as an option with limited capacity.
How Each Route Is Quoted
Every order is quoted in writing, in EUR, excluding VAT and delivery, EXW Eurodita factory by default. Eurodita publishes no price list. Payment is 50% with the order and 50% before dispatch.
Modified, bespoke and glulam projects are calculated individually. The listed catalogue model is not used as the price of a modified or bespoke building.
Eurodita publishes no lead times. Production timing is confirmed in the written quotation for each order, whichever the route. A made-to-measure order is first developed from the brief into drawings and a specification, subject to technical and commercial review.
Order Size
There is no single fixed minimum order. Whether an order fits is judged by product class, quantity, manufacturing economics, logistics and the project. The 19 mm range and the standard 28 to 44 mm ranges are volume-driven. Projects in 58 and 70 mm, bespoke buildings and glulam are more flexible and can be single projects. A new trade partner may normally start with one pilot unit, where the order makes commercial and operational sense.
Questions That Decide the Route
- Does a listed model fit the plot? If the recorded external dimensions fit, a catalogue model is the direct route.
- Is only the wall different? A solid log model can be made in any of the 28, 34, 44, 58 and 70 mm profiles, and a glulam model in any glulam profile. The 19 mm profile is used only on the models catalogued with it.
- Is a listed design close, but not right? Then the change is reviewed for the order as a modified model.
- Do the site or the permit conditions set the size, the height or the roof form? Then the brief can be sent as a bespoke project, which is assessed project by project. Local approval is the responsibility of the customer, the dealer or the project team, unless a written project scope assigns it otherwise; Eurodita can provide drawings, CAD, specifications and the available technical data for that review.
- Is it a two-storey building? Multi-storey work is made as bespoke, project-engineered work.
- How many buildings? The 19 mm range and the standard 28 to 44 mm ranges are volume-driven. Projects in 58 and 70 mm, bespoke buildings and glulam can be single projects, where the order is a good manufacturing and commercial fit.
Prices and Margins: What Eurodita Does Not Publish
Eurodita manufactures the building; the partner normally controls its own prices, its sales process and the relationship with its customer. Eurodita publishes no dealer margins, no resale prices and no profit projections, and it does not say which route earns a dealer more: that depends on the prices, the costs and the market of the dealer.
Offering Both Under One Brand
Catalogue models and bespoke buildings are made at one production location, from Nordic and Northern European spruce and pine, dried in-house in Nardi kilns and machined on Hundegger CNC equipment, in the same approved wall profiles and under the same recurring factory checks. Quotation and project documentation can carry the brand of the partner where that is agreed for the order, on either route.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Eurodita publish dealer margins for catalogue or made-to-measure orders?
Eurodita publishes no dealer margins, no resale prices and no profit projections for either route. The partner sets its own prices, and the result depends on its costs and its market. What Eurodita states is how each route is quoted: every order in writing, and a modified or bespoke building calculated individually.
Can I offer both catalogue and made-to-measure through Eurodita?
Yes. Both are made in the same factory, and quotation and project documentation can carry your brand where that is agreed for the order. The standard catalogue ranges are volume-driven, while a bespoke building can be a single project.
How do lead times compare between catalogue and custom orders?
Eurodita publishes no lead times for either route and makes no comparison in figures. Production timing is confirmed in the written quotation for each order. A made-to-measure order is first developed from the brief into drawings and a specification, subject to technical and commercial review.
