Despite their size, the assembly principle remains the same as our smaller cabins. All parts are numbered and pre-cut on CNC machinery for a perfect fit. While a 4-bedroom structure is a significant project that requires a professional team and more time, the interlocking logic ensures a straightforward construction process without the need for on-site cutting.
Is the standard 44mm wall thickness strong enough for a 4-bedroom house?
Yes. Our **44mm** logs are engineered with precision tongue-and-groove connections that provide excellent structural rigidity and stability, making them fully sufficient for 4-bedroom buildings. For clients seeking enhanced insulation properties or a different aesthetic, we also offer upgrades to thicker solid logs, **Glulam** timber, or our **Twin Skin** double-wall system.
Can these cabins be insulated for winter use?
Absolutely. While the solid wood provides natural insulation, for year-round residence we recommend opting for our **Twin Skin** version (double walls with an air gap for insulation material) or our pre-fabricated **Eurodita Insulated Wall System**. Combined with roof and floor insulation, these upgrades transform the cabin into a highly energy-efficient home.
