Product, order and after-sales conditions are confirmed in writing for each project in the quotation, order confirmation and the product documentation that applies to that order. This page explains what that documentation normally covers and how an after-sales question is handled. Please contact Eurodita for the documentation relevant to your confirmed order.
What a confirmed order carries
- Quotation and order confirmation: the model or drawing, wall profile, openings, finish, included components, packing plan, quantity, price basis, payment terms and the Incoterm (EXW Eurodita factory unless agreed otherwise).
- Drawings and assembly information: the drawings the order was manufactured from and the assembly information available for that product. Stated dimensions are external dimensions.
- Labels and material information: component marking and material information as required for the product and destination. Where an order is supplied under a partner’s brand, the manufacturer information that must remain stays in place.
- Shipment documents: the export and shipment documentation the transaction needs; the exact set varies by shipment and market and is confirmed at quotation.
How after-sales questions are handled
Send the order number, the model or drawing reference, photographs and a short description of the issue through the contact form. Eurodita reviews the question against the confirmed order and its documentation and answers in writing. For trade partners, the partner remains the contact for its own end customer; Eurodita supports the partner with technical information, drawings and replacement-component quotations where the order documentation provides for them.
What stays with the buyer
Unloading at destination, storage before assembly, the base, assembly, installation, services and local approvals sit with the buyer and its appointed local team, and are not covered by order documentation. Timber is a natural material: moisture movement, checking and colour variation are normal and are not defects. Eurodita publishes no single blanket warranty figure; the conditions that apply to a product are those in the documentation supplied with the confirmed order.
